Hydranautics and Indeck form US partnership International membrane technology company Hydranautics and municipal systems manufacturer Indeck have formed a partnership, in the USA, to sell systems based on the HYDRAcap capillary ultrafiltration (UF) membrane. According to Hydranautics, Indeck's market presence, systems manufacturing capability and experience, together with its own HYDRAcap technology, allows the companies to fulfil their customers’ water-treatment requirements using UF. HYDRAcap and HYDRAcap-LD (large diameter) UF technologies are designed to

offer single-step treatment, fouling resistance and chemical free operation at high recovery rates, claims Hydranautics. They can be used as either a primary treatment method or a pretreatment step to reverse osmosis in potable water applications, ground water recharging and water recycling.
