32-year-old Oriental woman presented for a routine periodontal evaluation. Roentgenographic examination revealed multiple dense, opaque, pointed, foreign bodies in the region of the maxilla and mandible. The patient admitted that she had undergone acupuncture treatment as child in Indonesia. Roentgenograms of the head revealed that the
