China is increasingly involved in international technology Xransfer, and becomes more and more a global business partner. Following the progress in patent work, technical information contained in patent documents has been seen as indispensable to people dealing with the technology market. However, the legal status of patented technology to be imported or exported has been teaching lessons to many who ignored it.

Some problems of less developed countries in expanding exports to developed countries are examined and a way of using the patent system to overcome these problems is proposed.
