Comments 1st Reviewer: This book gives a good and complete survey of the various types of hepatitis viruses with regard to molecular biology, pathology and diagnostic and clinical aspects. However, it is more suitable as a reference book for internists and hepatologists than as teaching material for students. The price is rather high. 2rid Reviewer: Just another viral hepatitis book. The aim of addressing many topics in a few pages leads to a superficial review. The discussion of some crucial points for general practitioners appears unsatisfactory, e.g.: therapeutic decision making, choice of virologic assays for diagnosis and monitoring and cost/benefit analysis.
