The 1991 V. M. Goldschmidt Award will be presented to A. E. Ringwood, Research School of Earth Sciences, The Australian National University, during the Third Goldschmidt Conference, May lo- 13, in Reston, Virginia. Dr. Ringwood was unable to attend the awards luncheon which was held at the 199 1 GSA meeting when the Clarke and Treibs awards were presented. The introduction and acceptance speeches will be published at a later date in Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta.
