Announcements THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE ADJUVANT THERAPY OF CANCER The Second International Conference on the Adjuvant Therapy of Cancer will be held in Tucson, Arizona 28-31 March, 1979, under the sponsorship of the Cancer Center Division of the University of Arizona. Drs. Sydney E. Salmon and Stephen E. Jones will serve as Conference Co-Chairmen. Abstract forms are now available; the deadline for submission of abstracts (prepared in the format of AACR/ASCO) is 1 December, 1978. WORKSHOP ON CL()NING HUMAN TUMOR STEM CELLS A practical workshop on soft agar cloning methods for human tumor stem cells will be held at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine, in Tucson, 3-5 January, 1979, under the sponsorship of the Cancer Center Division. The workshop will be presented by Drs. Sydney E. Salmon, Anne Hamburger, David S. Alberts, Ronald N. Buick and colleagues. EUROPEAN ORGANISATION FOR RESEARCH ON TREATMENT OF CANCER (E.O.R.T.C.) Second Breast Cancer Working Conference, Experimental and Clinical Aspects, in Copenhagen, Denmark, 31 May-2 June, 1979.
