[Draft in Mrs. Bohr’s handwriting.]
On the relation between the laws of line-spectra and the laws of black radiation. In a previous paper I have made an attempt to give an explanation of the empirical laws of the line spectra of Balmer and Rydberg, by using the theoretical deductions drawn by Planck from the laws of black radiation on the atom-model proposed by Rutherford. The subject is represented from a somewhat different point of view, which without altering any of the results obtained in the first paper may allow to see the difference and the relations to the ordinary electrodynamics more clearly.
