Xth ECD YSONE WORKSHOP Liverpool, England, 6-9 April 1992 The Scientific Programme will include lectures, posters and round table discussions in the following general areas: (A) Biosynthesis, metabolism and transport of ecdysteroids; regulatory mechanisms. (B) Mechanisms of ecdysteroid action in regulation of development; cellular and molecular aspects; receptors; ecdysteroid-regulated genes. (C) Distribution and function of ecdysteroids in invertebrates and plants; ecdysteroids and parasitic organisms. (D) Chemicals interfering with the biosynthesis, metabolism and action of ecdysteroids; practical exploitation of ecdysteroids. (E) Modern techniques in ecdysteroid research.
