IFToMM is being organized. The Congress will be held from 13 to 20 September 1971 in DubrovnikKupari, Yugoslavia. THE ORGANIZERof the World Congress of the Yugoslav National Committee invites all interested experts to take part in this big world review of achievements in the field of theoretical and applied machine engineering. Programme of the congress The programme is divided into the following scientific and engineering sections : (a) General problems concerning the dynamics of machines. (b) Analysis and synthesis of mechanisms (gears, cams and linkages, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic and other mechanisms). (c) Special machinery and vehicles (machines and vehicles of all kinds). (d) General problems and applied mathematics. Communications and reports The individuals and firms wishing to participate in the Congress with their reports are kindly requested to send the title and an abstract (up to five sentences) of the proposed paper not later than 1 April 1971, and the final text not later than 15 May 1971. The paper may be submitted in English, Russian, German, French or Serbo-Croat. The papers may deal with all sorts of achievements within the reference of the Congress topics either concerning the theoretical and experimental research or affected and applied constructions. As all the papers should be identical in form for issuing them in the Congress Proceedings, it is necessary that the printed papers should be sent in the following manner: text typed on white non-transparent paper, page size 170 × 240 mm. (app. 30 lines) and figures and formulas drawn and written in Indian ink. Technical service Lectures may be accompanied with slides or film and for that purpose slide projectors and 8 and 16 mm film projectors will be at the disposal of the participants. The lectures will be simultaneously interpreted in the Congress languages. Exposition At the same time an international exposition of Machines and Mechanisms is being organized. All those interested are kindly requested to contact the organizer : TEHNIKA COMMERCE,
