The aims of the AIDS Section in LIFE SCIENCES include the development of a forum for rapid publication of clinically relevant laboratory research on AIDS and AIDS-related subjects. These include aspects of epidemiology and pathogenesis, virology, microbiology, immunology, physiology and therapeutic approaches including the use of antiviral and immunomodulatory drugs. Studies 111vilro. in relevant animal models and in human subjects, will all be welcome. Studies of phenomenology as well as mechanisms of disease will be relevant as will brief reports, definitive papers and minireviews.
