Colour illustrations Illustrations can be printed in colour when they are judged by the Journal Editor to be essential to the presentation. The Publisher and the Author will each bear part of the extra costs involved. The charge to be passed on to authors of articles containing colour figures is 1400 Dutch Guilders (approximately US$ 760) for the first page containing colour and 700 Dutch Guilders for each additional page with colour. These prices are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT). Authors will be billed in Dutch Guilders; the dollar price is for guidance only. Colour illustrations should be submitted in the form of good quality colour photographs, transparencies, colour printer output or 35 mm slides. Polaroid colour prints should be avoided. The author receives 200 reprints of an article with colour illustmtions free of charge. More reprints can be ordered by the author at the current prices for (black and white) reprints, there being no additional charge for reprints containing colour. The Publisher January 1994
