Hydra-Cell has launched a new range of small baseplates designed to fit its pump models and facilitate easy pump and motor installation, while providing rugged protection in harsh industrial applications.

New Programmable Logic Controller The new AutoLog@ GSM-5 programmable logic controller (PLC) from Finland’s FF-Automation is designed to supervise and control remote pump applications via the European GSM network. The device is designed for long operating times and low power consumption, assert the manufacturers. The PLC allows measurement reports, status values and alarms to be sent from a particlular application back to a central database or control room. The end-user also has the ability to control, monitor, or even configure remote pump applications by sending instructions out via the internet, PC or a mobile phone, utilislng the GSM network.
