Linking Consumer Behavior Theory and Research to Public Policy Issues The Journal of Business Research is inviting papers to be considered for publication in a special issue. Bill Bearden, University of South Carolina, and Mike Etzel, University of Notre Dame, will serve as co-editors for the issue. Interested authors are encouraged to contact either Bill Bearden (803/777-4914) or Mike Etzel (2191239-5925) for details. Complete manuscripts ranging from 20 to 25 papers including tables and references, can be sent to either Bill or Mike at the addresses provided below. Completed papers are due by May 15, 1992. Topics for consideration include (but are not restricted to) the following: product safety and liability issues; nutritional and food labeling claims; “green” marketing; political advertising; cigarette and alcohol advertising; and, alcohol and drug abuse. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome. Authors should consult recent JBR issues for style guidelines.
