PALL TO MANUFACTURE IN IRELAND Pall Corporation has received a grant of financial assistance from Ireland's Industrial Development Authority to set up a manufacturing plant in the country. Pall is now proceeding with the purchase of a modern, 170 000 sq ft facility in Tipperary to manufacture healthcare products for the European market. Pall Corporation is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of fine disposable filters, membranes and other fluid clarification and separation devices lor the healthcare, aeropower and fluid processing markets. The company has annual sales of more than US$1 billion.
M E M T E C IN US$60 MILLION FACILITY AGREEMENT Memtec Ltd has signed a US$60 million multi-option, multi-currency facility agreement between the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Memtec Limited, Memtec America Corp and Memtec Finance Inc. The facility follows the issue nf senior notes by Memtec Finance in June 1996, and provides Memtec with lunded credit facilities for working capital, capital expenditure and future unidentified acquisitions. While the facility is based and managed from the USA, it can be drawndown in a wide range of currencies and countries.

Zander, based in Essen, Germany, is a manufacturer of compressed air filters and dryers The company employs 110 people and has annual sales of approximately DM1.6 million. Domnick Hunter's Industrial Division and Zander will integrate their operations worldwide.
MEMTEC EXPANDS WINDSOR FACILITY Memtec Limited has expanded its hollow fibre microfiltration capacity at its Memcor plant in Windsor, Australia. As a result of the capacity expansion, production of membrane fibre has tripled, increasing Memcor's ability to provide engineered filtration systems for industrial filtration, town water and waste water recycle applications.
