From the viewpoint of a contributor it is revolutionary! To submit an article, have it accepted, receive the galleys, and see it in print in such a short time is amazing, and rewarding. Incidentally, the section on history is, indeed, a joy and an education. I have been told by many urologists how much they enjoy this easy way to learn of urology’s past. My congratulations to you and best wishes for your continued success as editor of Urology.

COMPLIMENTS To the Editor: I have very much enjoyed the first issues of Urology. I admire it, as a reader, for its fresh new outlook and its coverage of the field of urology from both the clinical and investigative views. It makes it interesting reading rather than the stoginess we too often find.

PENILE
CARCINOMA
I really enjoyed the August, 1973, issue of Urology, especially your comments on page I71 on the treatment of penile carcinoma and the need for inguinal dissection. Right on, brother! It is delightful when two different series of sufficient size, such as yours and the one from Roswell Park, have the material, at least in my opinion, to suggest a comprehensive and reasonable approach.
