Carpenter Technology, a manufacturer of stainless steel, titanium, and other speciality metal products has increased the price of all its speciality stainless, high temperature, electronic and premium alloy steels. Carpenter will increase the base prices at an average of 5% on new orders of these steels in all product forms. The increase was effective from April and applicable surcharges remain in effect.
