Headquartered in Sauget, Illinois, UAF is a manufacturer of specialty air filtration products used worldwide in the telecommunications, data networking, medical and power generation industries to manage heat dissipation and protect against dust contamination, fire, electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference. “Thompson Street has been a valuable partner for UAF,” said Todd Deibel, president and CEO of Universal Air Filter. “We’ve enjoyed working with TSCP and are excited to continue our success as part of Filtration Group.” Founded in 1942, Filtration Group develops, designs and manufactures air, liquid and fluid filtration solutions.

Oasys Water partners with Select Energy Services

PX Corp’s Flow Technology segment has acquired Seital Srl, an Italian supplier of disc centrifuges (separators and clarifiers) to the global food and beverage, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Seital’s core technologies cover the clarification of liquids, separation of liquids, concentration, recovery of solids, and extraction of substances. The company’s disc centrifuges, rotary brush strainers and hydrocyclones, and standardizers are used mainly by customers in the food and beverage industry. Applications include dairy, wine, beverages and essential oils, as well as oils and fats. Founded in 1983, Seital is based in Santorso, Italy and has approximately 50 employees. The company exports its products to more than 80 countries.

Dover seals Maag deal

D

orward osmosis technology company Oasys Water is teaming up with Select Energy Services LLC to bring its membrane brine concentrator to the oil and gas sector. Select Energy Services, a provider of engineered water solutions to the oil and gas industry, will be the exclusive operator of Oasys Water’s membrane brine concentrator technology in the Permian Basin, for a 24 month period. Under the strategic partnership, Select Energy Services will use Oasys Water’s membrane brine concentrator to treat high saline produced waters from hydraulic fracturing activities. Oasys Water’s membrane brine concentrator uses the principles of forward osmosis, a natural process that draws fresh water across a semi-permeable barrier to produce potable quality water.
