United Rentals expands Pump Solutions network

nited Rentals Inc has announced two new Pump Solutions branches in Nashville, Tennessee and Savage, Minnesota, USA. They will provide fluid transfer solutions ranging from high volume, high pressure pumps to small, portable units and custom fabrication. The two new Pump Solutions branches are part of an expansion of United Rental’s specialty network which is adding seven new US locations. Paul McDonnell, senior vice president – specialty operations, at United Rentals, said: “Our latest US expansion is the first phase of at least 14 new specialty locations planned for this year. Scandinavian deal for Tomlinson Hall’s Liquivac pump

K pump distributor and manufacturer Tomlinson Hall has secured a major distribution agreement in Scandinavia for its Liquivac liquid ring vacuum pump. The pump, which can handle combinations of liquids, gases and fine solids, will be distributed in Sweden, Norway and Denmark by Lyma Kemiteknik AB. Sweden-based Lyma Kemiteknik AB, which is part of the Indutrade group, is a specialist in corrosive and abrasive flow technology. Liquivac was developed by Tomlinson

The pumps are used by utilities, chemical processors, food and drink producers, environmental engineers, desalination plants and sea life centres, and have been employed by companies including BASF, ConocoPhilips, Bayer, Tata Steel and Veolia. Waterjet Holdings renamed Shape Technologies
