ANNOUNCEMENT 14th I N T E R N A T I O N A L NUMERICAL METHODS
CONFERENCE ON IN FLUID DYNAMICS
Bangalore, India 11-15 July 1994 The programme for this conference will, as on previous occasions, include keynote lectures by distinguished scientists and engineers and plenary and parallel sessions devoted to presentations on various topics of current interest. These will include: upwind/characteristic type schemes, multi-dimensional upwinding, Boltzmann or kinetic schemes, structured and unstructured meshes, solution-adaptive grids, domain decomposition techniques, finite element methods and parallel computing, as well as application areas including internal flows, transonics and hypersonics, flows involving transition, turbulence and chemical reactions, high angie-of-attack aerodynamics etc. The selection of papers will be based upon extended abstracts of up to 4 pages, including figures and references. The abstract should state clearly the purpose, methods used and results. Three copies of the extended abstract should be submitted on or before 15 December 1993 to: Professor R. Narasimha
