Madrid, Spain, 11-14 September 1973 The 7th Symposium organized by the Union Scientifique Continentale du Verre in collaboration with the Sociedad Espanola de Ceramica y Vidrio will be held in Madrid from September llth to 14th, 1973. The theme of the Symposium will be: Glass Melting and Fining. Further information concerning the Symposium can be obtained either from the Secretariat of the Union Scientifique Continentale du Verre, 10, Boulevard Defontaine, B-6000 Charleroi, Belgium, or from the Sociedad Espanola de Ceramica y Vidrio, Carretera de Valencia Km 24.300, Arganda del Rey (Madrid), Spain. The specialists of the subject are also kindly invited to advise the Secretariat without delay of the subject of the paper they wish to present.
