he Nominating Committee met in August to select candidates for the 2003 ballot. All AORN members may use the sample ballot at right to communicate their preferences to their delegates. Only authorized delegates may vote in the election at Congress. Additional nominations may be made from the floor duriug the first session of the House of Delegates. Before nomination, however, the eligibilityof additional nominees must be verified, and consent-&serve forms must be completed. The Pre-Congress issue of the Journal (ie, January 2003) will contain biographical information and election statements for all candidates. 1
