ominating Committee members work together to prepare and present the annual slate of candidates for national offices. They also act as tellers for the election at Congress. The committee is composed of five members who are elected by the House of Delegates at Congress. The immediate AORN past President serves as the advisor for this committee. The chair is elected by members of the committee. At the 2008 Congress, delegates will elect three new members to the Nominating Committee. Two members continue in their twoyear terms to provide continuity. Nominating Committee members will be wearing lavender ribbons at Congress, and candidates will be wearing light green ribbons.
