5813767 SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR MONITORING COMBUSTION AND POLLUTANTS IN A THERMAL PLANT BY MEANS OF LASER DIODES Calabro’ Bruno; Frontini Luis; Repetto Francesco Genoa, lTALY assigned to Finmeccanica S p A Azienda Ansaldo A system for monitoring combustion and pollutants developed in a combustion chamber comprising at least one longitudinal single mode laser diode emitting a beam of electromagnetic radiation with a frequency modulated around the resonance frequency of a specific spectral absorption line of a component of the combustion gases, means for directing the beam into the combustion chamber along a path through the combustion gases to a radiation sensor and processing means connected to the sensor in order to identify the temperature of the combustion gases and the concentration of the component with the specific absorption line by the measurement of the intensity of radiation transmitted at various frequencies in a region surrounding the resonance frequency.
5814941 DEVICE FOR ELIMINATING LOW FREQUENCY RADIATION OF MONITOR Chen Teng-Feng Ping Chen, CHINA (TAlWAN) assigned to MAG Technology Company Ltd A device for eliminating low frequency radiation of a computer monitor is disclosed, including a pair of first conductive plates disposed on two opposite sides of a cathode ray tube of the monitor to generate a radiation signal thereon that is induced by the low frequency radiation of the monitor, the radiation signal being applied to a circuit which amplifies and inverts the radiation signal to generate an in inverted and amplified output signal, the output signal being applied to a pair of second conductive plates arranged on another two opposite sides of the cathode ray tube
to cancel the low frequency cathode ray tube.

5815869 APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CLEANING CARPETS AND FABRICS Hopkins John Orem, UT, UNITED STATES assigned to Venturi Technology Enterprises Inc Electrolyzed oxidizing water, or EO water, flows from an EO water reservoir through a regulator and into a line for mixing with conventional tap water. The tap water passes through a strong, permanent magnet which aligns molecules within the water in order to reduce the plating of mineral deposits within the equipment. The combined EO water and tap water solution is supplied to a water pump has another permanent magnet. A water heater heats the solution which flows through a control valve to a carpet cleaning wand. The wand is connected to a vacuum hose for evacuating the solution as it is dispensed into the carpet. The waste water solution flows through the vacuum hose and into a waste water tank. A vacuum is drawn on the waste water tank by a conventional vacuum pump. The waste water solution is circulated in the waste water tank so that any sediment in the solution collects at the bottom of the tank.
5816214 EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR AN AUTOMOBILE Kinugasa Yukio; Kidokoro Tom; Itou Takaaki Susono, JAPAN assigned to Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha The emission control system of the present invention removes the small amounts of polluting gases released from various parts of the automobile. These polluting gases are released from, for example, fuel oozing out from connections of the pipes in the fuel system, lubricating oil oozing out from engine body, and
