Letter to the Editor

A response to the letter by F. Worek and P. Eyer Dear Editor, To develop a new effective antidote therapy, we are examining the action of oximes as an antidote in organophosphate poisoning. As shown in our paper, it is very important that oximes very easily hydrolyze ASCh. However, we are afraid that the statement “the AChE activity assay with ASCh can be a serious source of error in reactivation studies of oximes” might be too strong as they (F. Eorek and P. Eyer) indicate. We are thankful for their opinions.
