A special issue on high-level information fusion

‘‘When you use information from one source, it’s plagiarism; When you use information from many, it’s information fusion” This special issue, devoted to high level information fusion and situation awareness, is the 14th in our ongoing series of special issues (and sections) devoted to specific topics of interest to the information fusion community. As has been customary for special issues, the issue starts off with the guest editorial, which first introduces the motivation for the issue, delineates its scope and describes briefly its contents. The guest editorial is then followed by the seven papers recommended by the guest editors for the special issue. The issue, as per tradition, closes with another offering of ‘Finding FUN in FUsioN’ column.

Be it with my body, or with my mind With words, or organs of any kind, With my intellect, or with my soul, Or by force of Nature pushing me to my goal, Whatever it is, with all these I do, Oh! Supreme Lord! I surrender to you. Belur V. Dasarathy Editor-in-Chief E-mail addresses: [email protected], [email protected] URL: http://belur.no-ip.com
