High torque variable speed metering pump
Blue-White Industries has developed a new metering pump, the CHEM-PRO C2 Series. The C2 can incorporate a low flow diaphragm for feed/ output up to 97 LPH or a high flow diaphragm unit with a maximum output of 142.7 LPH. Both have a maximum working pressure of 10.3 bar.
Fluid Metering Inc (FMI) has developed an industrial variable speed pump (IVSP) for industrial and process applications which can handle a broad range of fluid viscosities.
Features of the CHEM-PRO C2 pump include a PVDF pump head, adapters and ball valves, a digital touch pad control with back-lit LCD display, a variable speed motor that can be adjusted from 1 – 100% in
1% increments, and a pump housing of durable powder coated aluminium. The pumps also include the company’s built-in leak detection system that can sense a chemical leak in the pump head and shut it off.

Corrosion-resistant electrodes for pump welding Electrode manufacturer Select-Arc Inc has introduced a duplex stainless steel electrode range which has good resistance to intergranular corrosion, pitting and stress cracking in piping systems, pumps, valves and heat exchangers. SelectAlloy 2553-AP is a flux cored, all position electrode with a nominal composition of 25.5% chromium, 9.5% nickel, 3.5% molybdenum and 0.15% copper. The weld

Additions to shaft-sealing line Inpro/Seal has developed two new shaft-sealing systems for the containment of powders, abrasives, liquids and toxic vapours: the Air Mizer-PS and the Articulating Air Mizer- PS. The Air Mizer product line was developed to use minimal amounts of air pressure to seal shafts where dry particulates, powders and bulk solids are
handled, processed, packaged and stored. They can be installed on screw conveyors, rotary valves and transfer pumps. The Articulated Air Mizer-PS has all the features of the original Air Mizer-PS but can also handle extreme shaft run-out and deflection.
