Association for Research in NUTRITIONAL BEHAVIOUR Arbeitsgemeinschaft Ernaehrungsverhalten (AGEV) People eat from hunger but also to cultivate friendship, to signal social position, to express ethical or religious convictions, for comfort and many other reasons. AGEV was founded in 1977 with the aim of uniting all approaches to the study of human dietary behaviour. The Association promotes exchange among the natural, social, and cultural sciences, in research planning and evaluation. AGEV convenes national and international conferences for scientists and practitioners from all aspects of nutritional behaviour. Abstracts must be in the style and one of the maximum lengths specified in the current Guide to Authors for Appetite, with scientific and literary standards assured by the editor(s) nominated by the organisers and agreed by the Exceutive Editors.
