LIFE SCIENCES announces AIDS RESEARCH COMMUNICATIONS To appear as a special section of the Journal
The aims of the AIDS Section in LIFE SCIENCES include the development of a forum for rapid publication of clinically relevant laboratory research on AIDS and AIDS-related subjects. These include aspects of epidemiology and pathogenesis, virology, microbiology, immunology, physiology and therapeutic approaches including the use of antivirai and immunomodulatory drugs. Studies in vitro, in relevant animal models and in human subjects, will all be welcome. Studies of phenomenology as well as mechanisms of disease will be relevant as will brief reports, d e f i n i t i v e papers and minireviews. LIFE SCIENCES aims to review manuscripts rapidly and publish submitted papers in 6-8 weeks after receipt in camera ready format. This is particularly relevant to the AIDS epidemic where advances should be rapidly disseminated.
