77th Annual Meeting Washington Plaza Hotel, Seattle, Washington March 18--19, 1976 announces: CALL FOR ABSTRACTS OF PAPERS FOR SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM All investigators in the field of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics -- members and nonmembers -- are invited to submit abstracts of papers to be considered for presentation at the 77th scientific sessions of the annual meeting of the Society. ONLY PAPERS'WHICH FOLLOW THE RULES PRECISELY WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rules for submission o f abstracts (1) Send original copy and fifteen photocopies of abstract to the Chairman of the Program Committee: DONALD G. VIDT, M.D. Head Clinical Section, Dept. of Hypertension & Nephrology, Cleveland Clinic, 9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106, U.S.A. Tel. (216) 229-2200 (2) The Program Committee will select abstracts which are acceptable and appropriate for the meeting. The accepted abstracts will be published in the January 1976 issue of the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics as part of the a n n o u n c e m e n t of the program by the Society. (3) Abstracts must not exceed 250 words, including title, author(s), and address. Numbers and abbreviations count as words. Abstracts exceeding this length will not be published in the Journal. Do n o t include tables or figures. I (4) Original copy must be typed, double-spaced, on a single sl~eet of standard 81A" by 11" bond paper with llA '' margins all around. Only one side of the paper may be used. Abstracts should be typed w i t h o u t indentation beginning with title and continuing in 'run-on' style as one paragraph (see below). The name of the presenter should be underlined. The word 'abstract' should n o t appear in the title. SAMPLE: Dose-regulated automated anesthesia. Harry J. Lowe, M.D. and M.
