Medical Course
Human Genetics: present and future 5 - 16 April 1987 in Oxford The aim ofthe course is to inform physicians, graduates in biological science and Ph.D. students of the most recent advances in genetics, particularly in the field of human and medical genetics. Those attending the course are expected to have a good prior knowledge of basic genetics, to attend all lectures and to take an active part in the discussion which will follow the presentation of each topic. Books, journals and selected reprints will be available for consultation and participants will be encouraged to present and discuss aspects of their own research. Professor M Bobrow of the Paediatric Research Unit, United Medical School of Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospital, Univer sity of London, and Professor L Luzzatto, Royal Postgraduate Medical School, University of London. The seminar is designed far physicians, LTaduates in biological sciences and Ph.D. students with a good basic knowledge of genetics. There are vacancies for 40 participants.
