Announcement for JKSS special issue

We are pleased to announce that Journal of the Korean Statistical Society (JKSS) has agreed to devote a special issue to selected papers from the 1st IMS-Asia Pacific Rim Meeting (IMS-APRM) to be held in Seoul, Korea, during June 28–July 1, 2009. Speakers of the 1st IMS-APRM are encouraged to submit their papers to the special issue. All submissions must be made online through the journal’s submission website: http://ees.elsevier.com/jkss. All submissions to the special issue will be peer-reviewed. JKSS aims to publish high-quality research articles that make original contributions to the theory and methodology of statistics and probability. It also welcomes papers on innovative applications of statistical methodology, as well as papers that give an overview of a current topic of statistical research with judgments about promising directions for future work. JKSS is currently included in the coverage of ISI Web of Science, Science Citation Index Expanded. Recent issues of JKSS are available on the ScienceDirect platform: http://www.sciencedirect.com/ Submission to the special issue starts on July 10 and ends on November 30, 2009. When a submission is made, put the remark ‘‘Submission to the IMS-APRM Special Issue" in the ‘‘Comments to the Journal Office" box that appears as the submission process proceeds within EES (Elsevier Editorial System).
