APhA-OEO Meeting

APhA-OEO meeting The board of consultants for the APhA/OEO Research Project on the Delivery of Pha'rn'l'aceutical Se·rvices in Pove,rty Areas met on Wednesday, August 13, in the boardroom of APhA headquarters. The boalrd is made up of representatives of the profession who practice in poverty area's in community pharmacies 'and in neighbo.rhood health centers. They administer Federall he'a lth progmms and are involved in pharmaceutical education and resealrch. Also on the board are Ir epresentatives from national organizations for the aging 'and consumers, and the National Cente,r for Health Services Research and Deve·lopment. In addition to the board members, other attendees included the project staff from APhA and representatives from OEO, Bureau of the Budget, National Center for Heall th Statistics alnd Resource Management Corporation. The board was given a'n introduction to the proj ect and a review of the progress to dalte. Re,source Management Corporation, which wiH perform the opinion ,research portion of th is project, made a presentation concerning its activities.
