1983 Annual Session Information Levoy conducts seminar Bob Levoy will be one of the featured speakers at the 1983 Annual Session. He will be conducting a unique seminar titled "Team building--the brass tacks of motivating your employees." According to Levoy, it takes strong medicine to turn people around, shake them up, open their eyes--to help them see what they've been doing or missing--and then making a change for the better. This promises to be an idea-filled seminar for the endodontic office that calls for results.

INTERNATIONAL NEWS

The Natal Endodontic Study Group, a branch of the Endodontic Society of South Africa, has held two meetings this year. On January 6, the members met at the Jewish Club in Durban to hear presentations by Drs. C. T. Botha and Michael Haskell. Both speakers presented case types, such as a "bull tooth" in which apexes are joined, and avulsed teeth. Dr. Botha demonstrated the successful method of root canal therapy before re-implantation and other methods that he found effective. A one-day course on "The filling of root canals in three-dimensions" was held by the NESG on July 24 at the Durban rooms of club secretary, Dr. It. Cunningham-Graham. Dr. Dave Koton of Durban, who attended a similar course run by Dr. Herbert Schilder, at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry, conducted the one-day course. A roundtable discussion on different aspects of root canal therapy, such as cleaning, shaping by vertical condensation and three-dimensional filling of root canals, is scheduled for Oct 12 this year at the Durban Jewish Club.
