15 Auxiliary and Affiliated Facilities 1. The power plant shall be designed according to turbo-generator unit capacity, type, quantity, equipment overhaul features, transportation, and other conditions and equipped with necessary metalworking facilities. Attention shall be paid to the processing of large parts and sophisticated pieces as well as castings. Assembly of solar concentrators can be solved by establishing temporary construction facilities on-site. 2. The structural design of thermal insulation of the solar thermalabsorbing section shall be in line with the following requirements: a. A good outer protective layer shall be applied to the insulating layer of the cavity receiver in the power tower plant, which shall be waterproof and flame-retardant, and its mechanical intensity shall satisfy the operational requirements of construction. b. When using hard insulating materials, expansion joints shall be reserved on straight pipes and elbows; if the vertical pipeline length exceeds 3 m, insulation weight holders with a clearance of 3w6 m shall be designed. c. Valves, flanges, and other components that must be disassembled during overhaul shall adopt a movable thermal insulation structure. d. If the pipeline can come in contact with concentrated solar radiation, highly reflective devices shall be mounted on the pipeline and the outside of the receiver. 3. For solar tower power generation, the surfaces of protective layers of the upper and lower pipelines on the solar tower shall be protected from concentrator radiation. For cavity receiver support, the steel structural surface near the aperture of receiver shall be made of highly reflective and fireproof materials.

4. A synthetic oil storage tank for the solar collector shall be mounted outdoors, while the oil storage tank of the steam turbine shall be mounted outside the turbine house. Antifreezing and fireproofing measures shall be undertaken for oil storage tanks located in cold areas.
