Stripping

System

Blu-Surf Inc. designs and manufactures a stripping system for the removal of cured hydrocarbon coatings from hooks, racks, fixtures, and parts. Removal of a coating is accomplished by heating the materials to be stripped to 650 to 750°F. The coating is reduced to a fine, light ash and fumes. The fumes produced are vented through an afterburner chamber, which raises the fume temperatures to 1,400”F or higher for a minimum of one-half second. The resultant effluent discharged to atmosphere consists of water vapor and carbon dioxide.

Walk-in Ovens Precision Quincy Corp. woodstock, 111. Seventy five models of 450”F(232”C) gas- and electric-heated walk-in ovens have work space sizes from 96 to 768 ft3. Air supply ducts can be adjusted to suit various types of workloads for uniform temperatures throughout with gentle air circulation patterns ideal for powder coating and other metal-finishing applications. Standard features include digital indicating temperature controls, belt driven air recirculation fan, welded steel construction with aluminized steel interior, and triple hinged nonsag gasketed steel doors with pressure release latches.
