BCLA Photographic Competition The BCLA is holding a photographic competition, sponsored by Hydron Ltd. There is no particular theme, so this competition offers an excellent opportunity to display any interesting contact lens-related slides to the conference delegates. The judging will be according to the following criteria: • As providing clinical information • A demonstration of educational benefit • Uniqueness • Quality of photography

Conditions of Competition Entry Maximum of two submissions per entrant, stating name and address. Only 35ram slides will be accepted. Slides and copyright become property of BCLA with proper accreditation and

the winning entries will normally be published in the Journal of the BCLA. Each slide must be accompanied with a brief title and a 100 word abstract written in English including: description of condition, brief history (if appropriate) and photographic conditions. Completed submissions should be sent not later than 1st March 1997 to: BCLA Photographic Competition, c/o Professor Nathan Efron, Department of Optometry, UMIST, PO Box 88, Manchester M60 1QD.
