Moores is a senior lecturer in the Department of Management Sciences at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. After a two year spell at Johns Hopkins he returned to this country intent on applying Operational Research based techniques to the health care delivery system. His prime interests are investment in mental health and various facets of the nurse manpower planning problem.
