yosung-Ebara Co Ltd (HECO), the South Korean joint venture established in 1989 between Hyosung Corp and Ebara Corp to serve the domestic custom-made pump market, has been dissolved. Ebara Corp transferred all of its HECO shares to Hyosung Corp on 31 August 2010. HECO will continue to trade under a new name without Ebara. The technical license agreements for custom-made pumps between Ebara Corp and HECO have also been terminated. The new HECO will assume all technical and/ or commercial responsibilities for the pumps and/or spare parts which have been offered, manufactured and sold by HECO.
