New sizes of Guspro GO-Series heat-cleaning ovens are designed to clean electrostatic coating line components, hooks, baskets, trays, trees, line fixtures, rack grates, hangers, and reject parts for powder-coating operations. The heat source of the GO-Series ovens is in the refractory firebox under the load cart, protecting the parts from temperature distortion. Fast-cleaning cycles assure increased productivity. A rapid-response, heavyduty thermal oxidizer burns off hydrocarbon emissions, smoke, and odor. These ovens save labor and eliminate chemicals, solving most waste disposal and liability problems for powder coaters.
The Kolene Kontinuous system is an in-line, molten-salt bath that allows organic coatings to be stripped from racks, hooks, and carriers on each cycle of your finishing line. This eliminates filmbuild variations due to inconsistent part grounding, and reduces manpower, transportation, and spare rack requirements. Kolene’s in-line system requires approximately 30 ft of line space. It is designed to operate at normal line speeds to permit stripping 10,000 racks per day.

Chemco Mfg. Co. Inc., Northbrook,
Challenge Inc. has introduced a barrier coat for water-based paints, which provides clean, dry masks to painting operations, while reducing the cost and environmental impact of mask washing. Challenger 6333 is a water-soluble, zero-VOC barrier system engineered for use with pressure-type mask washers. It offers strong advantages, both in application flexibility and maintenance. Created for use with waterborne paints, it can also be used successfully with most solvent-based coatings. Application is with existing mask washing equipment. Challenge 6338 is 100% solids, biodegradable, and can be diluted with either tap or deionized water. Circle

For quick removal of paint, enamels, synthetics, varnishes, and lacquers, Chemco Mfg. Co. offers its 1850 Series Cold Strippers formulated for general purpose, dip, or immersion applications. Chemco’s cold stripper is a safe, nonflammable stripper that requires only normal adequate ventilation and does not affect sensitive metals or precision-machined parts in the time normally required to strip the finish. Because finishes pucker and shake off or rinse away easily with a pressure stream of water, other removal techniques, such as rubbing or brushing, are unnecessary. Cold stripper is available in 55gal steel drums or 5-gal steel pails. Circle
