Advanced Controlled Pyrolysis Paint/Powder Stripping Furnace by Pollution Control Products utilizes a rate control system, which monitors the rate of temperature increase in both the furnace and afterburner compartment. If this factory-programmed rate is exceeded the water mist will immediately activate to control any over-temperatures that might damage parts. The furnace is built to factory mutual standards and features a completely automatic cycle timer. It runs only long enough to clean the parts and then shuts down. Minimum operator input is required. There are no menus from which to choose or guessing at the proper time to set on the timer. The rapid-fire afterburner ensures that EPA standards are met.
Blu-Surf Inc. designs and manufactures a batch burn-off oven for the removal of cured hydrocarbon coatings from hooks, racks, fixtures, and parts. Coating is removed by heating the materials to be stripped to 650 to 750°F. The coating is reduced to a fine light ash and fumes. During the process, hazardous contaminants are eliminated by the oven’s afterburner, which thermally destroys pollutants at temperatures ranging from 1,400 to 1,900”F. The resultant effluent discharged to the atmosphere consists of water vapor and carbon dioxide. To ensure even temperatures throughout the oven chamber and eliminate cold spots, the heat distribution plenum is centered beneath the load, spanning the oven chamber from the back to the front.
