Grundfos opens engineered systems facility in Texas Danish pump manufacturer Grundfos has officially opened its new Peerless Engineered Systems building in Brookshire, Texas, after an investment of almost US$4 million.

Hyundai Heavy Industries delivers pumps to Russia Hyundai Heavy Industries Engine & Machinery Division (HHI-EMD) is supplying large cooling water supply pumps for the nuclear power plant which is being built in Kalinin, Russia. The order covers eight sets of Hyundai Heavy Industries vertical cooling water supply pumps, driven by 3900 kW

ProMinent expands in South Korea

Metering pump specialist ProMinent has expanded its production plant in South Korea.

Colfax is supplying 180 two-screw rotary positive displacement pumps to China’s Brightoil Shipping Group for installation in 40 new tankers under a €5.7 million pump order.

The German pump group has invested around €2.5 million in its metering system production plant in Giheung-gu, Yongin City, Gyeonggi-do, near Seoul. “With high-capacity local production, we are ideally equipped for the future and, at the same time, can meet

customers’ requirements more precisely, avoid long distribution channels and expand our global production and logistics network,” said Prof Dr hc Viktor Dulger, chairman of the ProMinent supervisory board. Teikoku USA to acquire pump service business Teikoku USA Inc has reached an agreement with Texas Process Equipment Co of Houston, Texas to acquire its canned motor pump service business. Texas Process Equipment, a distributor of process pumps in the US Gulf Coast market, is the authorised service centre and sales channel partner for Teikoku USA’s Teikoku, Chempump and Dynapump brands of canned motor pumps. After the divestment of the canned motor pump service

business to Teikoku USA, Texas Process Equipment will continue to supply sales, customer support and value added services to the process pump market.
