m Compact PC pumps are highly flexible The F Series of pumps from PCM Moineau offers the advantages of conventional progressing cavity pumps - they retain a high volumetric output with little variation as a function of the discharge pressure, even after long and intensive use - in addition, they withstand conditions in which centrifugal pumps would quickly deteriorate. These pumps are a natural replacement for piston or membrane metering pumps for handling highly viscous or abrasive products. Another advantage is that their compact size and sturdiness make them a particularly suitable choice for integration in machines or systems. The stator of the F Series pumps is said to be “floating”, i.e. it is attached by its flange, with its cylindrical part not sup ported in the pump body. Thus, the F Series offers many advantages such as compact size increased durability exceptional quietness resulting from vibration attenuation free stator expansion without affecting pump operation . above all easy maintenance. This series is equipped with either a standard flanged motor or an integrated motor/ inverter drive unit used to cover a wide range of discharge rates. The design of the F Series is simple and sturdy Its body is made of cast iron or stainless steel and its rotating parts are
PCM Series F by PCM Pompes. made of stainless steel (coated in some cases). Sealing is by a simple mechanical seal made of carbon/stainless steel or, as an option, silicon carbide/tungsten carbide. Technical characteristics: * Maximum discharge rate: 3400 Uhr Maximum pressure: 10 bar Maximum temperature in continuous operation: 80°C Cylinder capacity: 1.26 to 37 cm3 Rotation speed: 240 to 1600 rpm The F Series is used in many sectors of activity:
.
in water treatment to transfer flocculents in sewerage plants, in the agribusiness or paramedical industries to measure honey or liquid soap in the chemical industry to transport detergents, hydrocarbons, emulsions, etc.
