tI I1 Aldoa has a n n o u n c e d the introduction of a new, clear passivation coating for parts having electroplated zinc deposits. Aldokote TCL is a two-part system, based on the trivalent chromium salts, which gives a clear chromate with excellent adsorption performance for organic dyes of various colors. It is used at room temperature, so the working solution and parameters are easy to maintain. The bath is suitable for both rack and barrel applications. Importantly, the new passivation coating can provide 72 to 96 hours white corrosion protection in n e u t r a l salt spray tests; enhanced protection ,:an be achieved with an appropriate sealant. It is w a t e r soluble, recyclable, leaves low levels of surface residue on parts, and is specially formulated to resist rust, corrosion, and microbial degradation. The product rids parts of shop soils and oils from metalworking fluids such as die sprays, cutting/grinding fluids, and heatt r e a t i n g quenchants, enabling metalworkers to produce superior m a n u f a c t u r e d parts and components. It does not require the use of sumpside additions of biocides, and inhibits rust and corrosion. ization, which has been proven in hundreds of installations to end rancidity, coolant odor, and dermatitis caused by coolant contact. The Pioneer removes solids to 1 micron, t r a m p oil to 0.25%, and reduces bacteria to levels found in freshly mixed coolant. All purity specifications are backed by a process guarantee. Systems designed for flexibility can process both water-soluble and semi-synthetic coolants and return at least 95% of the recoverable fluids for reuse.
