To be held at the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia from 6 to 14 July 1978. The SPA component is planned for 6-10 Ju y and the ASC component from 11-14 July. The SPA Conference will be similar in format to the prevrious conferences in the series (Rochester, N.Y. (IJSA) (1971), Louvain (Belgium) (1972), Sheffield (U.K.) (1973), Toronto (Canada) [1974), Baltimore (USA) (1975), Tel Aviv (Israel) (1976) and Enschede (The Netherlands) (1977)). I t will feature invited and research papers on stochastic processes atnd their applications as well as sessions for contributed papers. The 4th A.S. Conference will be similar in format to the 3rd Conference, held in Melbourne in August 1976. This is fairly close to the SPA PZonference format.
