ANNOUNCEMENT FOURTEENTH CONFERENCE AND THEIR APPLICATIONS

The 14th Conference un Stochastic Processes and their Applications will be held at the campus of Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. The conference will last from Tuesday morning, June 12, until Saturday afternoon, June 16, 1984. The conference will be similar in format to the previous conferences in this series, organized under the auspices of the Committee for Conferences on Stochastic Processes of the Bernoulli Society for Mathematical Statistics and Probability. The program will consist of invited papers as well as several sessions on contributed papers. The program committee consists of P. Jagers (chairman), G. Lindgren, T. Lindvall, J. de Mare and B. Rosen. The list of invited speal.ers includes J.L. Doob and K. Iti?, as well as R. Adler, S. Berman, S. Cambanis, D. Freedman, I. Ibragimov, M. Jacobsen, J. Jacod, 0. Kallenberg, 0. Nerman, E. Nummelin, J. Sinai, R.L. Smith, D. Szasz and Ruth Williams. Abstracts of contributed papers, to be published in this journal, should reach the Course Office (address below) as soon as possible. These should be typewritten, double spaced and with wide margins, and should not exceed one page. Authors should provide a list of keywords and a short title.
