European Thrombosis Research Organization, ETRO, 5th Advanced Teaching Course, Bologna, September 5-11, 1993 The 5th Advanced Teaching Course of ETRO (European Thrombosis Research Organization) entitled Pathophysiological and Clinical Research in Thromboembolic Disease, will be held in Bologna, Italy, on September 5-11, 1993. Co-chairmen will be Professors S. Coccheri (Bologna) and M. Verstraete (Leuven). This is a residential course, consisting of main lectures, panel discussions and tutorial activities on the following daily topics: Endothelium-blood cells interactions and thrombogenesis, platelets, vascular wall and thrombosis, risk indicators and pathogenic factors for arterial thrombosis, changing perspectives in research on antithrombotic agents, pathophysiology and diagnosis of
