EXPLANATORY NOTES The ten-year index is set out in a manner similar to those for previous volumes. The names of authors are printed in CAPITALS, generic and specific names of fossils described are in italics and volume numbers are in heavy type. Obituary notices are given in alphabetical order throughout the index. The volumes indexed contain 3312 pages, compared with 2875 pages which make up Volumes 51-60. A list of Field Meetings not reported in these volumes but referred to only in the circulars is given in alphabetical order and included as an Appendix.
