Flux unveils new flange for worm-drive pumps
Valve manufacturer Flowrox has launched a new pulsation dampener.
A bearing flange with an integrated impulse generator has been launched by FLUX-GERÄTE for its eccentric worm-drive pumps.
The Expulse is designed to reduce noise while settling pressure peaks and ensuring a continuous fluid flow. Flowrox says the product can cut energy consumption by up to 10%, largely as a result of its absorption of up to 90% of pulsations. It adds the device’s reduction in the hammering of the pipeline and pump can lead to extended operational lifetime for the pump bearing and gearbox, while it prevents the collection of sediment, particles or residue thanks to its built-in self-cleaning operation. “A shutdown due to a threat to pipe integrity can not only be
