Scope of the Conference The goal of this meeting is to reinforce interactions between cell biologists and scientists involved in the molecular and cellular study of infections with the aim of stimulating creative synergies in projects which appeared previously unlinked. This meeting will mainly focus on structural and functional aspects of cytoskeleton rearrangements upon various stimuli such as cell-cell contacts, matrix-cell contacts or contact with pathogens. Endocytosis/phagocytosis and membrane trafficking will also be covered. In addition to invited speakers, many other speakers will be selected from applicants. Cell biologists and physical chemists are particularly encouraged to apply. The conference is open to researchers world-wide, whether from industry or academia. Participation will be limited to 100. The emphasis will be on discussion about new developments. The Conference Fee covers registration, full board and lodging. Grants will be available, in particular for nationals from EU or Associated States under 35.
