In preparing for an anatomy lesson, Dr Robinson served as both a canvas and an artist as he and I illustrated pertinent wrist anatomy on him (Figs. 1e3). Only an ink pen was used although alcohol wipes served as an eraser when needed. The project took roughly an hour to complete. It has served as an excellent image for teaching surface anatomy to our residents.
